On April 8, 2013 I shared my first blog, publicly. I can still remember the feelings of anxiety and adrenaline running through my body that day. There is something to be said about putting yourself out there in the raw.
Whether in life, business or relationships – showing your authentic self is something so powerful! Not only does it bring to life things inside of you you didn’t know you had but it also breathes life into others.
It’s crazy that almost exactly 2 years later I’m celebrating over 10,000 people in the Miracles Are Brewing community on Facebook alongside the opportunity to share my work on Elite Daily, a huge platform. It took a lot of guts, grit and grace to get to this point and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to say the least.
I recently celebrated my birthday and one of my wishes came true already. I wished that one of my articles would be published on Elite Daily. This week that came to fruition. Not only was it published but it has been shared and liked over 4,000 times since Monday. What a blessing!
The article is about what happens when you say “I’m never drinking again,” and mean it. It depicts how life changes under the umbrella of sobriety and it talks about the benefits I’ve noticed in my sober journey.

It all started the day I got on my hands and knees to pray for recovery from my addictions. That day a miracle was set into motion that continues into this very day. Sobriety in and of itself was a dream that became reality and it definitely took blood, sweat and lots of tears to sustain.
Thank you to each of you who has been a part of my life and journey, supporting my work, sharing it, liking it and sending me messages of positivity and thanks. You have no idea how much I appreciate you and how you contribute to my ability to keep going.
I don’t say these things to boast or make much of myself. I say them to demonstrate that if you put your mind to something, follow your passions and shift your focus to serving others, miracles kick in and they carry you to places your dreams have foreshadowed to you. Always remember you would not be given a vision without the corresponding ability to see it through and your dreams become reality with hard work. Work hard, dream big and let miracles unfold in front of you.
Much love MABers! xo
